If you know anyone missing a white and tan female chihuahua mix, please let me know. I found one wandering around the CVS parking lot on the corner of Harrisburg @ Lockwood on Thursday.
I also put an ad up here: houston.craigslist.org/for/2647461068.html

She was very scared at first but is very sweet once she warms up to you. The shelter that I normally volunteer at is full right now so I’ll probably have her for a few more days.
What a great run today. Though I wonder how accurate my speed was. I ran with Jasmine to the dog park on the other side of downtown, and she got to play with a great dane puppy. This is literally the only dog that Jasmine has ever gotten annoyed at — she even barked and nipped at him, but I think they had fun “playing.” Jasmine still had enough energy to trudge through four more miles after that and we ran towards Allen Parkway and back through downtown.
I’ve just finished Born to Run so I’ve been focusing on being more zen with my running instead of trying to drown out the pain with music or distractions. So today I had a really good run, sans music, taking in the scenery and making up the route as I went along. It worked out well. My legs weren’t in any pain. The only annoyance was a small blister on my arch that seems to pop up every time I run more than four miles.
James picked these up at a local bike shop (West End) and I thought it would be helpful to share. The city ordinance that was on the back of this can be found here.
