So this past weekend (Sunday), I decided to take Jasmine to the emergency vet because I noticed she was getting dehydrated from all her puking and pooping. Jasmine is perfectly fine but I saw some pretty sad things in there.
The people that came in ranged from somewhat harmless (someone brought their cat in because it swallowed a string?) to the horrific (two guys brought in a pit bull from a dog fight). The saddest part was overhearing people paying to have their dogs ultimately put down and the small number of people that left that animal hospital crying, without their beloved pets.
