online shopping, the good and the bad
I needed some books and a new wheel for my car and decided to try some online stores that I had never ordered from before. The results were a coin-flip since one of the stores was really lovely, and one was god-awful. Let’s get the bad review out of the way first.

I think this is so interesting because of the way the media portrays certain weights and what is an accetable weight and what is not. i am sick
I’ve only been sick 24 hours but I’ve already forgotten what it feels like NOT to be sick. So far I have only eaten one “solid” thing today (a sandwich). The rest of my intake has been in the form of cough drops, tons of tea (because it’s the only thing that clears up my stuffy nose), and soup.
Being sick utterly sucks. I really wish I could have just slept in all...
welcome to the worst day of 2009 (so far)
Today has been the absolute worst day in quite a while…because:
I had to get my insides probed today. AND instead of it being free, I paid $40.00 for the inside-probing service. I now need to get the co-pay fixed because I want my one free exam damnit!
When I got to my appointment, I accidentally parked in the wrong parking area and had to pay more. In my defense there was no signage that...

It was a really lovely moment today when I was in a very long three hour meeting and one of the higher-ups stood up to acknowledge the new President. He said: I’m 57 years old, a Republican, and a big oil man; but I am very excited about the direction our nation is going (paraphrased).
a quick vent about school
Well, the new semester has just started and already I have been dealt some bad news:
I am absolutely required to have a minor. I can’t even fit in the minor that I want because 1/2 of the classes are not available and I’m 80% sure choosing this minor (Informations Systems Development) would delay my graduation by at least one more semester. At this point, I just want to get it over...
