I am drinking coke at 10AM in the morning which means that my day has started out shitty (otherwise I would be having some coffee).
It all started when I woke up 30 minutes late this morning. I had to take a shower, walk the dogs, and get ready for work in about 40 minutes. I did it in about 50 minutes which was still OK.
Then I realized that I had to get my Q card refilled so I could take...
I think I may have the teeniest of shopping bugs. I just ran a total of all the clothes I’ve bought in the past two weeks. Here’s a short run down:
eBay: 2 pairs pants, 1 for work, 1 casual
vanHeusen: 2 pairs pants (both for work)
sears: 3 pairs pants, 2 skirts
jcpenney: 2 skirts, six shirts

Peanut butter sandwiches on toasted bread do not do well in a sandwich bag.

So the coke machine at work has the “exact change only” light on yet it only takes dollars. What a scam.
I wanted to pay exact change, I really did. Right now, the machine owes me around $2.
I was just talking about acid rain and pollution to a friend on AIM and remembered when I was in first grade and started a group called “pollution solution” where we would clean up cans and stuff during recess every day.

My promise ring is starting to get very tight. This means one of two things: I’m now too far for a size 5 ring or my ring has somehow shrunk.
I am so sleepy but it’s only 3:30PM and I’ll probably be in the office for another two hours (at least). There are too many tasks to do in SP right now and apparently I’m the only one on our team working on this stuff.
I also really, really want Coke but it’s not good for my sore throat apparently.
On my way into the building this morning, a lady that came in behidn me commented on my Kenneth Cole “use me” bag. She said that she thinks it’s so great that people use reusable bags since the plastic ones are bad for the environment.
I felt a tad bad because I still use plastic bags at the grocery store, and I only use this bag because it’s my largest tote bag. :(

Online outlet stores are the best thing since sliced bread. Seriously, since I have to buy new business casual clothes now, I’m so glad I’ve found places where I can get name brand button down shirts for $7-10 each.
Went to the estimator yesterday. She gave me an estimate for $350-ish to have the back bumper taken off and repaired. I can also opt out to get the rental car and get cash which I will probably do since getting a rental requires a deposit.
Maybe dad’s bmw will be fixed and I can drive around my Corolla for a few days.
My office is disturbingly quiet on Mondays and Fridays because of 9/80 schedules.

Something I learned at lunch today:
You can cook fish rare, medium rare, medium well, well done, etc, like you do for meat.
Chevron’s “cafeteria” is very yummy. Sort of reminiscent of Google’s but not free.
For lunch today I had: Grilled Salmon, green beans and vegetables, and rice pilaf.
Just got an e-mail from NY & Co. entitled “Summer’s Sexy Sweater.” Is that an oxymoron or what?
