time is just a number
This morning I scrambled out of bed and got to work in record time. I was stressing as I hustled out of my car only to realize…I was a full hour early. Which only means that the numbers we assign to time are basically meaningless. It’s not as big of a deal to wake up at 6am or 7am or whatever…as long as you get enough sleep the night before.

Things I miss in adulthood
1. Sleeping in on Saturdays and Sundays. 2. Eating a really unhealty brunch in a dining hall. 3. Not having to worry about work and money. 4. Not having to worry about what/where to eat for lunch/dinner. 5. Living with my girlfriends down the hall. This is really turning into “What I miss about my college years,” which I am technically going through.

I went on an impromptu trip to Austin this weekend to visit my old Baylor roommate. We ate a great brunch at Magnolia Cafe this morning. Sometimes, when I eat fast food, I feel like I am eating flavorless cardboard fried in oil. Also, during lunch, I go to starbucks and buy a cheap-ish drink just so I can use their wi-fi. I’ve learned that plungers work with poo-ridden bathtubs as well poo-ridden toilets. Don’t ask, just trust me. In other news, I am almost guaranteed an A in one of my classes if I get at least a 62 on my last exam. Thankfully, this semester is over. Unfortunately, I going for the summer session this year.
