change, again
Sometimes…well most of the time, you don’t get it right the first time. So I’ve decided to try again with “Roll over, play dead.” Now that I’ve cleaned my apartment, maybe I’ll have some time to do some design. Still not terribly inspired though.

never QA without being asked
I noticed an invalid link on flickr.com’s account section due to incorrect HTML code, so I decided to use the contact us function to let them know. It takes forever to communicate “your link is broken!” to their customer care.
Me:
Guys, the link to www.mosaickr.com actually goes to http://www.flickr.com/account/www.mosaickr.com right now. Just thought you should know.

change is good
I decided to edit the theme here a bit because I often get tired of any of my sites looking the same for very long. So I settled on using “Bigfoot” by Harris Novick. After some tweaking, I’m almost to where I want it.
Eventually I hope to make my own layout, but who knows when that will be since I’ve been feeling so utterly lazy lately. At least I’ve been updating.
House to watch: 9010 Laverne Park Ln →
This is my house to look at for the day. The location isn’t all that great, but at least it’s in the beltway loop, new construction, and a decent $/sq ft. AND it looks interesting on the outside.
a look back on 2008
My hip hop dance teacher said last night, “Oh my GOD! This year is almost over. 2008 was such a shitty year.” So I thought back about 2008. What happened, what I did, and how my life was. And I’ve come to agree — 2008 was pretty much a ho-hum year (personally).
So I am sitting down this morning with my PB sandwich and a full cup of coffee to think about and chronicle what...

some lessons learned
I have learned some invaluable lessons today and have decided to impart some of my wisdom on you lucky people.
Bolt — cute movie. Really, really cute movie. Yes, it’s animated and also a tad cliche with the story lines. But the characters are just, well, cute. I would recommend watching it if you have a soul and like to have a few laughs.
Waxing — It is oddly satisfying if...
Harry Potter... The EXHIBITION →
I would totally go and pay to see what basically would be a Harry Potter museum exhibit….but only if they transform the venue into a life-sized replica of Hogwarts complete with moving staircases and talking portraits. I absolutely demand this!
You know you've made it when you're on wikipedia. →
Who would have thought six puppies on a streaming webcam site would have their own wikipedia article and a mention on their breed’s wikipedia article. Isn’t that crazy?
dear EA, please fix your shit
Is it too much to ask for games to work out of the box?
As soon as I installed Spore, I was prompted to sign up for an EA/Spore online before I was allowed to access the actual game. Ok, no problem. I enter all of the necessary info: e-mail, birthdate, screen name, mother’s maiden name, etc. But wait! What’s, that error message? “Trouble connecting to the spore server, check...
bye, bye Shibas. You were all so effing cute.
